Frequency Specific Microcurrent (FSM) is a system of treatment using very low level electrical currents (that cannot be felt during the treatment) while combining very specific frequencies to facilitate changes in the body at the cellular level to create positive effects on pain. Many clients cannot believe how much better they feel after just their first treatment.
FSM is NOT a TENS device. The two techniques work very differently in the body. Often potential clients think they will not benefit from FSM since they did not have success with TENS treatments but this has not been the case.
Cranial sacral therapy (also known as craniosacral therapy) is a gentle, noninvasive form of bodywork that addresses the bones of the head, spinal column and sacrum. The goal is to release compression in those areas which alleviates stress and pain.
Cranial sacral therapy seeks to restore the natural position of the bones and can decrease stress from chronic injuries as well as provide relief from migraine headaches, neck and back pain, temporomandibular joint disorder (the inflammation of the joint that connects the lower jaw to the skull) and more.
Craniobiotic addresses health stressors that are stuck in the body and how they contribute to pain. This is a highly effective technique for acute and chronic issues.
In its simplest terms, occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants help people across the lifespan participate in the things they want and need to do through the therapeutic use of everyday activities (occupations). Common occupational therapy interventions include helping children with disabilities to participate fully in school and social situations, helping people recovering from an injury to regain skills, and providing supports for older adults experiencing physical and cognitive changes. Occupational therapy services typically include:
At Core Health Strategies, your Occupational Therapy evaluation and treatment sessions involve advanced techniques that have been integrated from years of study, experience, and current evidence. We specialize in:
Core reintegration dates back to 50 years ago, and was introduced in the U.S. during the 1960s to treat neurological disorders and spinal injuries. Today, core stabilization is developed by using stability balls and balance boards to help rehabilitation patients or to incorporated into an individual’s fitness program.
Everyone, from beginner exerciser, professional athletes to patients recovering from surgery can benefit from core reintegration techniques. Stability balls are versatile conditioning tools and can be used in many different situations, from rehabilitation to performance enhancement.
At Core Health Strategies we help you figure out why your core has been inhibited and when it feels like you're at a plateau and just cannot get stronger as fast as you would like.
This treatment technique addresses 32 points on your head that, when gently touched, effortlessly, and easily release anything that stops you from feeling joy and ease in your life. These points contain all the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and considerations you have stored. This is an opportunity for you to let go of everything! This technique can be very helpful with releasing pain from the body, especially when other options have not been beneficial.
What are the benefits of far infrared?
The effects of far infrared go far beyond heat. Heating is good for the body especially in ridding infection and the beneficial effects of saunas are well known, but by using a far infrared sauna you get the added benefits of increased energy production by cells, increasing collagen and elastin production by the skin, increased circulation, burn calories and fat, increase muscle relaxation, speed injury recovery, boost metabolism, and the detoxifying release of heavy metals stored in the body's fat cells.
Far infrared saunas work by emitting a certain bandwidth of energy that resonates with the water and organic cells of the body. This pulsating of water molecules causes an increase in core temperature, which mobilizes the lymphatic system
Essential oils are so small in molecular size that they can quickly penetrate the tissues of the skin, are lipid soluble and capable of penetrating cell membranes, even if the membranes have hardened because of oxygen deficiency. According to Jean Valnet, M.D. essential oils can affect every cell in the body within 20 minutes.
Essential oils have a bio-electrical frequency that is several times greater than the frequency of herbs, food, even the human body, and are made up of the same elements as the human body, which are hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon and sulfur. The oils also contain amino acid which are the building blocks of protein.
